I know what you're thinking, I'm one of those overly ambitious people that is falling into the hype of the "new year, new me" mentality. Unfortunately, I've been down that path before. A new year is full of exciting possibilities and that excitement turns into motivation. Then reality sets in, the same challenges follow you into the new year, and you find yourself wondering if it's possible to actually achieve the goals you were once excited about.
Sound familiar? Many of us take off with goals quickly but lack thoughtfulness when it comes to being consistent with the action it takes to work on goals.
That's where my journaling challenge comes in. Instead of diving in head first, my journaling challenge encourages you to analyze your goals, potential roadblocks, and come up with a realistic plan. It breaks down big goals into baby steps, and helps you visualize your plans.
So how am I on track for my 2023 goals so early in the year? It's simple, baby steps. I am taking things slowly, being kind to myself, while also setting realistic and attainable goals.
